Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken." Reading this, I am reminded of how weak I am spiritually. I find it easy to sin and to be weak against sin. Here we read some help in seeing God's plan for battles against sin and areas in which we are weak. Get some help. Two or more are not so easily defeated; if one stumbles, there are those who can help you up. God created us to be social and to interact with each other. Why is it so difficult to let others know of the sin that is in us? We need others to help us when we are weak. how can they help if they do not know what struggles we have? I need God to help me share my struggles with guys I trust.
